ELSA Room Design & Build at
Bromley Heath Infant School

Project Overview

Millard’s Homes & Gardens were proud to design and deliver a new ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) room for Bromley Heath Infant School, supporting the school’s urgent need for a dedicated, calm and nurturing space for children.

The project was delivered as a full design and build, with Millard’s Homes & Gardens contributing a significant proportion of the works to help the school bring this vital facility to life. Working closely with staff, we designed a space that feels safe, welcoming and purposeful, supporting children’s emotional wellbeing and day-to-day learning needs.

The build includes a bespoke timber-frame structure, designed specifically for the site and its users, with careful attention paid to scale, light, comfort and durability. Every aspect of the room was considered to ensure it functions as a supportive environment for both pupils and staff.

Our team were fully DBS checked, and the project was completed with full compliance and sign-off, ensuring the highest standards of safety, professionalism and care throughout.

This was a particularly rewarding project to deliver, one that demonstrates our commitment not only to design and build quality, but to giving back and creating spaces that make a meaningful difference within the community.
