Redland Loft Conversion & Bathroom Design

Project Overview
This project involved the complete transformation of a loft space within a Redland property in Bristol, delivered as a fully engineered and design-led conversion.
A key challenge was maximising head height while achieving exceptional thermal performance. To address this, we specified a super-foil, high-performance insulation system, allowing us to meet building regulations without compromising valuable internal volume. This approach ensured the space feels open, light and comfortable while remaining highly energy efficient.
The conversion includes new Velux roof windows, flooding the loft with natural light and enhancing the sense of space. Electrical design, lighting layout and power provision were all carefully integrated to suit both everyday living and long-term flexibility.
A fully bespoke bathroom design was incorporated into the layout, seamlessly integrated within the roof geometry and finished with clean, contemporary detailing. Throughout the space, extensive attention was paid to shadow gaps, junctions and plastering, resulting in crisp lines and a refined architectural finish.
From structural coordination and insulation strategy through to final finishes, this was delivered as a full loft conversion package, demonstrating how careful engineering and considered design can unlock high-quality living space within existing homes.
